Unzip and then double-click on “Race-Keeper Comparo setup x.xx.xx.xx.exe” to launch the Race-Keeper Comparo installer
This video is of Shamus Jennings, who drives for the G-CAT Racing team in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB championship, testing at the Silverstone National circuit (UK). There are two laps in this outing so you will be able to compare them against each other but to fully exploit Comparo’s features, we would recommend you download the 1.2GB truck racing example too.
HDX2 Recovery Image File (SERIAL 11xxx Only)
This is the latest HDX2 Recovery Image File for units with serial numbers that begin 11xxx. Do not use this file if your serial number begins 10xxx.
Only attempt to recover your HDX2 system using a Recovery Image File if you are having trouble with your system or have been advised to by Race-Keeper technical support.

This file is a disk image that will return your HDX2 system to a stable firmware version. You will need to burn this image onto an SD card using Win32DiskImager software, which is downloadable here: Win 32 Disk Imager
How to make an HDX2 Recovery SD Card:
1. Download the HDX2 Recovery Image File and Win32 Disk Imager software.
2. Install Win32DiskImager, then launch it
3. Unzip HDX2 Recovery Image File
4. Insert an SD Card (>1GB) and select this in the software under “Device”
5. Select the HDX2 Recovery Image File in the software under “Image File”
6. Click “Write” to start writing the image to your SD Card
7. Click OK on the next popup message
8. When done you will see a message in a separate window saying “Write Complete”. Click OK on that window. Close the Win 32 Disk Imager app
9. If Windows tells you the SD card needs to be formated, ignore it. Do Not Format the SD card after you have made it!
How to use a HDX2 Recovery SD Card
1. Insert HDX2 Recovery SD Card into HDX2 then apply power. The system will scroll the “Memory Used” lights continuously.
2. Wait until the system shuts down (approx 3mins).When shutdown, only a red “Power” light will be illuminated.
3. Remove HDX2 Recovery SD Card and power HDX2 system back on
4. Perform sample recording to a different SD card (you will only be able to record to an HDX2 Recovery SD Card if you repartition and reformat it first).
5. There is no Step 5! That was easy, Right?!

HDX2 Box Firmware (SERIAL 10xxx ONLY)
This is the latest HDX2 Box Firmware for units with serial numbers that begin 10xxx. You can simply copy this file to an SD card to install the firmware.
But, we recommend that instead of this firmware you use the full software image file to update your Series 10 HDX2 to the newer generation of software, the v3.x.x code which adds a huge amount of stability to the Race-Keeper HDX2.
See the file above on this download page to create a recovery SD card with the newest code.
Do not use this file if your serial number begins 11xxx.

Accelerometer Calibration File
This file allows you to zero the accelerometers in your Race-Keeper system following install, so that the G Force values that appear in Comparo HD when you play back your video and data are correct. This file can be used on all HDX2, HE and Black systems.

To apply, simply download the file, unzip the “trivinci.id file” and save it to a blank SD card before inserting this into a powered Race-Keeper system box. The orange “Transfer” LED will start to flash. After about 10 flashes, the card is safe to be removed and the file should then be deleted from the card before it is used to make any recordings. You should then hold down the power button on your box to shut it down, before pushing it again to restart it.
You will only need to zero your accelerometers if you reposition the box within the car and it’s mounting orientation is not flat.
Predictive iDash for Android devices Download
This file should be saved onto your Android device, and then launched/installed to allow the use of the Race-Keeper Predictive iDash app on your device.

To apply, simply download the file onto your android device then run the iDash.apk file by clicking on it. Follow instructions on-screen on your device.

Once you have purchased and applied your iDash licence onto your HE/Black system, you will need to apply this configuration file to ensure the Unbreakable Wi-Fi device has the correct IP address.
