Race Planet at Zandvoort using HDX2
Zandvoort based driving experience operator Race Planet is now using Race-Keeper HDX2 systems on their fleet of vehicles.
For almost 25 years, former F1 driver Michael Bleekemolen has been organising driving experiences at Zandvoort race circuit in the Netherlands, just 20 minutes outside of Amsterdam. With an active fleet of 40+ supercars including Porsche’s, Lamborghini’s, AMG’s and Aston Martin’s, Race Planet has established one of the most extensive driving experience operations in Europe. Not only can you drive the exciting Zandvoort racing circuit in a wide variety of supercars but you can also go drifting, drag racing or off-roading through the sand dunes, all in bespoke and well maintained machinery.
In an effort to further improve their service, Race Planet are now starting to install Race-Keeper HDX2 multi-camera video-data logging systems to their huge fleet of vehicles to provide guests with a long lasting video record of their awesome driving experience at Zandvoort.
Below is a short clip from one of their Porsche’s showing what the guest will see when they get home and view their onboard video. As well as the two 1080p HD video images you can see that a track map is created via GPS and overlaid on the video along with data gauges including Speed, Brake and G-Force. Additional data from RPM and Throttle are also available.
Race-Keeper are very excited to be working with Race Planet at Zandvoort and look forward to stumbling across random HDX2 video uploads from their guests on YouTube for years to come.
